Studies on the determination of Folic acid in Foods (¥°)

Abstract

|
Microbiological method was used to determination fo folic acid in Korean foods, 23 kind of food such as vegetables, mushroom and dried-fish.
Streptococus feacalis R.ATCC 8043 was used as test microorganism.
The determination of microbiological growth was done by spectrophotometric method at 550m¥ì and following results were obtained through interpolation.
The highest folic acid content in Bud of aralia-elata was 287.5mcg%
