Studies on the determination of Folic acid in Foods (Ⅰ)

Abstract
|
|
|
Microbiological method was used to determination fo folic acid in Korean foods, 23 kind of food such as vegetables, mushroom and dried-fish.
Streptococus feacalis R.ATCC 8043 was used as test microorganism.
The determination of microbiological growth was done by spectrophotometric method at 550mμ and following results were obtained through interpolation.
The highest folic acid content in Bud of aralia-elata was 287.5mcg%
